Sharing.

Sunday at church Max was asked. “What would you do if you saw a cold homeless man on the road?’ Max responded. “I would take my coat off and cover up him and me at the same time. We would snuggle together.”
Another child responded. “Wouldn’t you be afraid?”
Max spoke with confidence. “Jesus would protect me.”

I'm not sure if this was the complete story, Max's teacher shared with me.

Max SOLVED a PROBLEM!

A couple of weeks ago while I was looking at vacuums, Max scrutinized over a carpet cleaner that had a chipped part. He interrupted me several times while I was reading a label. “Mom they can’t sell this. It shouldn’t be here.” I gave up on reading and left the area. Max was so fixated on the broken piece and he sounded like a broken record as I shopped. “Mom we have to tell a worker.” After fifteen minutes I decided to take him to a worker. Max squeezed his hands and gawk at the employee. He spoke faintly and pointed. “You can’t have that vacuum over there.” The worker seemed baffled. I spoke up and told her Max’s concerns. She then smiled at Max. “Thanks for letting me know.”
As Max walked away he held his head up as though he had solved a problem that no one else could
