Max Christmas 2008

All Max wanted for Christmas is a green wheelbarrow. He was thrilled that Santa brought him one. He was ready to go outside and fill it with hay for the horses that live near our house.
He has a favorite horse he likes to visit named Harley.

Superman Max 2008

Hallowen

Max and I made this skeleton out of milk gallon jugs.
I traced his hands and feet for the skeletons hands and feet.
We had a lot of fun making it together.

Max loved his Superman costume, but had no desire to go trick or treating and get candy.

Max had a hard time at school yesterday. He told the teacher that he didn't have to do any work.

Max gets so excited when we go by an empty field. He tells me he wants to buy it for twenty dollars to put his horse on it.

Max asked, "Why do people have trees at their houses?" This question was asked about ten times on our way home from cub scouts. Max has been on this kick of asking me questions. Other questions he asked often ----"Why are there red lights on the back of cars?" "What is speech?" The sad part to all of this is he can't remember the answer after I respond to his question. Minutes will past and he will repeat the same question that he had asked five minutes ago. Max is fixated on his Lego's right now and seems to find joy in his star wars Lego's game.

Max inquisitiveness has been amazing these past couple of days. The questions he has pop up with have been over the edge. Last night while trying to get him to take a shower he spilled out the most interesting question.
“Mom, you grew up when you got married?”
“Yes, Max I grew up.” Are you going to get married Max?”
His response was so cute.
No, I not marry; I will be having fun with my horse.”

Today Max had his cub scouts pine wood derby race. He loved the idea of placing his red derby car up on the track and quickly running to the other end to retrieve it. His face would lite up like a light bulb when he walked back to his seat. Max never placed, but he had the time of his life. Max continually brought up on the way home from the derby race, that he didn't have school tomorrow.

Max is such a sweet nine year old boy. He loves horses, barns and dreams of living on a farm. Daily he will ask me if we can have bob the builder come and take our house down so he can build a barn. Max looks to you with his big blue eyes and wonderful smile in hopes that bob will someday arrive at our house.
