My scary story.

Max talked and I typed his words for you to read.  I felt so bad about what happend to him today. Poor kid was afraid we would never come home. Max has been talking non-stop about his horrible experience today. Max has never, ever been home alone and this experience was very scary for him.

MAX'S STORY...
My scout leader dropped me off and left me at my home after scout day camp. I walked up to the front door by myself and rang the doorbell and knocked on the front door several times. I thought my mom was home, but she wasn't. I made my decision and realized no one was home so I walked by myself to my scout leader's house to get help. I felt scared and as I walked on the sidewalk I tried to hide from strangers that wanted to kidnap me. I put my coat on my face so no strangers could see who I was. I walked to the next street to my scout leader's house. I talked to his daughter and toold her I need help and my mom wasn't home and I had a problem. I was sowrried about who would take care of me and if I would have a home. I was worried I wouldn't see my mom for another couple of years. I'm glad that I following Heavenly Father helped me make good choices. It saved me today. I have never been alone before and I tried hard to listen to what Heavenly Father would want me to do. He was watching over me and helping me not to be in danger. I knew Heavenly Father was with me and wouldn't let someone take me away from my mother. I think it's a miracle that I was able to get back with my mom.

  1. Max, it is a miracle and maybe Heavenly Father wanted you to know that he knows who you are and that he will ALWAYS take care of you. I love you and I am so happy you are back at home and safe with your mom and dad and Malachi. Love Aunt Delia <3

  2. Max, I am so glad that you listened to the promptings that you needed to so you could get somewhere safe. Heavenly Father will always be there to help you if you just listen.
